Laboratory Aide

Overview

               Primarily accountable and responsible for accurate, complete and timely collection of in-process materials, finished products and by-products sampler.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist QA personnel to ensure accurate, complete and timely collection of sample of in-process materials, finished products and by-products for laboratory analysis.
• Assist to Prepares sample of copra (crushed & entrada) for analysis (Oil Content, FFA and Moisture Content) by proper grinding or pounding.
• Cleans and dries all laboratory wares after each use, ensuring safe and proper handling of which.
• Assist QA analyst to Ensure all retention sample are properly labelled and stored by date.
• Performs housekeeping inside the laboratory in line with 5S, GMP and SSOP principles.
• Maintains effective working relationship with colleagues and contributes to team working initiatives
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, Quality and Food Safety Management System standards and all other Company policies and procedures.
• Performance other duties as requested by the Agency Coordinator.

Qualifications

• At least High School graduate.

Competencies

• Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Ability to understand and follow specific instruction and procedures.
