Payloader Operator
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operates straight or articulated rubber-tired tractor type vehicle equipped with front-mounted hydraulically powered bucket or scoop to lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage or processing areas, to feed conveyors, hoppers, or chutes, and to load trucks or railcars: Starts engine, shift gears, presses pedals, and turns steering wheel to operate loader.
- Moves levers to lower, tilt bucket and drivers front-end loader forward to force becket into bulk materials.
- Moves levers to raise and tilt bucket when filled, drives vehicle to work site, and moves levers to dump materials.
- Performs routine maintenance on loader, such as lubrication, fuelling and cleaning.
- Maintains assigned unit. Keeps assigned unit clean and in good condition before to operate.
- Assured that the vehicle is maintained in excellent condition and is cleaned regularly and in-depth knowledge of vehicle maintenance is applied
- Observe safety and proper housekeeping in the work area.
- Fill-up the unit checklist regularly
- Perform other functions that may assigned by the Agency Coordinator.
Qualifications
- At least High School graduate.
- At least 3 year of experience in handling heavy equipment vehicle.
- LTO Professional License with 1,2,3 and 8 restriction.
