Company Driver / Messenger
Overview
Handling mail, delivering and pick up goods and correspondence, carrying parcel, packages, and delivery and collection of official documents as per required by the superiors and handles other messenger functions from time to time (delivery / collection).
Duties and Responsibilities
- Driver vehicle for official travel and business, or as requested by Representative or Officers.
- Driver V.I.P to various destinations upon request, with knowledge of various cities and efficient routes.
- Deliver products sample or materials from the plant to assigned destination.
- Coordinates with purchasing department regarding assigned schedules of pick-up or delivery.
- Maintains assigned vehicles; keeps vehicle always clean and in good conditions.
- Observes traffic rules and regulations and maximum speed limit as prescribed by the land transportation office (LTO)
- Schedules routine check-up of the vehicles, routine check-up include but not limited to oil, brake functions, water lights, tire condition and the like.
- Assured that the vehicle is maintained in excellent condition and is cleaned regularly and in-depth knowledge of vehicle maintenance is applied.
- Monitors expiration and renewal of his driver’s license and vehicle registration renewal without causing inconvenience to the client or the company schedule.
- Observe safety and proper housekeeping in the work area.
- Performs other jobs as instructed by the Agency Coordinator.
Qualifications
- At least High School graduate.
- At least 3 years of driving experience
- With LTO professional License restriction 1, 2, 3
